Anybody have a lead on where to look for some cut-resistant gloves or apparel? I have tried a few products but haven't had luck with anything that works well.

Have you tried the Hatch gloves? They make one model that has a blend of cut-resistant fabrics in the liner. I read a test report several years ago that was pretty favorable. Bought some and they are quite comfortable. Admittedly, I haven't cut them hard to see whether they work. However, I did run a sharp blade over a portion of the liner and the blade seemed to slide over it smoothly and without cutting.

Don't expecxt to grab a knife weilded by an attacker with your Hatch gloves without getting cut clean through.

With that said I am on my second pair in 10 years. The first lasted the most of 9 before I got some glass imbedded between the leather and the liner. It never made it to my hand. Nor did the sharp points on barb wire or fencing as I jumped it or the glass I wiped from countless vehicle seats after the victims car was broken into. I have skidded hands first across the cement, pulled dragging mufflers from the underside of cars, dragged deer.... All the while I have never been injured through the gloves, I guess thats why they are in my back pocket (at work) all the time.

I guess I am wondering what your purpose is. I have a set of Ringers which I like for what they are made for which is working around twisted metal and broken glass and bloody people. They have kevlar fiber reinforcements in them as well as just tough outer materials and they seem to work very well though I haven't actually tried to cut them. There are less expensive versions if you don't need bloodborne pathogen isolation.

Pro cooks commonly use gloves designed to protect against cuts during food prep work. I'm sure they would be available at any restaurant supply place, and for a non-tactical price.

I believe Rapala has a "cut-proof"fillet glove made from what looks like very fine chain-mail-any outddoor store should carry it.
