Cut Throat Knives Information???

Hello,

I was digging through my box of fixed blades and ran across this one that I hadn’t messed with in a while.

• I bought it on the Exchange here 5-6 years ago but can’t find the listing.
• The only markings are CTK on the sheath and a smiley face on each side of the blade.
• I’m sure the CTK stands for Cut Throat Knives but haven’t been able to find any information about them. Google only returns information for an outfit in Australia (https://www.cutthroatknives.com.au/) and I don’t think that’s who made this one.
• There is a listing in Exchange for another knife made by CTK (https://www.bladeforums.com/threads...never-used-with-sheath.1697207/#post-19400831) that claims the name was changed to Appalachian Knives and they aren’t doing work anymore. I couldn’t find anything relevant for Appalachian Knives.

I’d like to know if anyone has any further information on the maker and knives, such as where they were made and the steel used. I’m not interested in selling it and don’t really care about its value. I don’t think I paid much and doubt it’s worth much. I like the design and it seems decently made, though I doubt it would win any awards for fit & finish.

@wdwmkr, if you have any other information I’d appreciate it.
