What I might say might ruffle some feathers but I say it in an inquisitive arbitrary tone.. I recently got a chance to check out some old stock JSP stuff.. in particular the assoscite harness and check and card wallet for the CC blade. the screws on the old assosciate have a black parkerized (?) finish which seems tough to wear, while the new screws I have seem to be just painted black and will chip easily.

I also have a new issue bifold wallet, but th eold card and checkbook wallet both have hard plastic liners in he blade sheaths unliek my new bifold. THe stitchign seems better on the older wallets too.

one little anal thing is the instructions that dont seem to be included in the newer stuff too..

is it just me or is th e newer stuff just so popular that there is no time to do these little extras for quality?

(insert obligatoy good sport spmiley here)

Susan,

Take a scan of the wallets in question and post them here if you can and I will try to answer your questions.

I will ask James about the screws as well.

Hello Sir Don, Thanks for helping out.. I will try to take a scan at the office but I really d not see much difference from my (new stock) bifold and (old stock) checkbook and card wallet, cosmetically except for the plastic liners. Still will see what I can do.. damn old computer. if I didn;'t love her..
