So my uncle just got me a late christmas present its a cutco second generation 7 inch fighting knife whats the diff between the cutco one and just the kabar one ?

I'm pretty happy with the DD serration pattern. Would be fun to have a katana-shaped blade with DD serrations all along it. I would enjoy that.

I just have a hard time getting past the "Cutco" name. It sounds like something that should be sold on a late night infomercial.
