Cutlery Corner

I'm very new to not only BladeForum but to knives in general. An elderly gentleman as started an avalanche by giving me a Case XX pocket knife. I carried with me every where & it seemed to be useful almost everyday. One night I couldn't sleep & was surfing cable and came across Cutlery Corner. I ordered 2 sets of knives. One set folding tactical knives & the other simple pocket knives. Both seem cheaply made especially the tactical ones. Is this common with these guys or did I just not choose wisely? I'd like to read other people's opinions & experiences with Cutlery Corner.

Those types of deals are usually a rip-off. Cheap Chinese made crap with low end materials and fit and finish to match. Spend some time around here and do a lot of reading, you'll learn what to look for.
 
It's pretty common. Their knives are mostly junk. Cutlery Corner is owned by Jim Frost, not surpisingly a friend of the late Jim Parker. They do sell some nice Case knives but their knives are very, very cheaply made. I bought a knife from them that was only ground on one side and completely flat on the other. I guess it was a chisel grind but I'm pretty sure it was done that way to save money. Anyways, it was junk. I am basing this on a knife a bought about 7 yrs ago but I saw a couple months ago on tv that they are still selling the same knife.
 
just watch it for tom odel...hes so funny..try searching threads for cutlery corner....youll get all the opinons you want....and dont get drunk when you watch it, youll order again...thats how they get me, they wait till im good and drunk and then they turn that shit on
 
During college, I used to get together with a group of friends to watch Cutlery Corner and drink beer and eat pizza on Saturday nights. I've got to say that Tom O'Dell is an extremely entertaining person, especially when watching him while drunk.
 
Very entertaining show i watch for the Lady, she is easy on the eyes, love her voice..
