Cutlery Science - Battle Mistress Review

all that thread did for me was increase my bitterness that I was not around for the release of those.

That review combined with the Noss test probably secures Busse and "Infi" as THE port of call when you want a great field knife. I have said this before but my thinned down and fully convexed NMFBM is probably the best knife I have used for all around performance....definately my most used Busse....in time I doubt anyone will have these knives as "safe queens"....at least not the combat versions...which being thinner than the LE's are better...and I have thinned down my Combat Grade...absolutely "THE" knife in the Busse line up for me when it comes to clearing work in the woods.

About .235 to .24 thick and it takes on and beats everything....those hand shaped linen micarta grips make it so comfortable...there is another who we cannot speak off but is known as the KZ...now that story when it is "tweaked" is something I am still unravelling...

Not that I am aware of....infact I think he ended up being banned from a couple of sites....it might be Knifeforum.com .... not sure for certain....but I think he upset some of the other makers....his reviews of some knives must have badly affected sales...Ferhman I know suffered...if only from losing me...some of the custom boys thought him too "loud" often citing that he did'nt make knives and was'nt therefore an expert.

However when Cliff rated Busse and Noss had it as the "benchmark"....I figured it was a safe place to invest in a knife...I bet loads of others have done the same...

cutleryscience.com is Cliff's website but I'm not sure when it was last updated.

Yes, after that one and Noss's tests on the FFBM I think the BM has become the standard to which all field knives are judged now. :D

Extremely in depth review. That one helped ease the spending pain in my gut over the Infini price. CGFBM unmatched field chopper.

I always enjoyed reading Cliff Stamp and I also heard of Busse indestructability, first, from his reviews. By the way; what was his website called before it was changed to cutleryscience.com.

I have no idea what led me to Busse:confused:

Only thing I remember about it is clicking on this Busse room in 06. I must have really liked what I saw because I do remember buying 6 in the first week.
