Last week two friends and myself made a pilgrimage to Olean, Little Valley, Springville, Ellicotville, and Cattaraugus, NY, and Bradford, PA to visit knife museums and factories and and the towns where they once were. We went to the Cutco-KA-BAR visitor's center and found Cutter the squirrel out in front of the center. I am on the left and Fred Swan, a collector from southern IN who some may know is on the right. Cutter is holding a large cleaver. What an area to visit if one is a knife collector!! I had brought along some of my rarest antique KA-BAR hunting knives to show Joe Bradley the company historian but sadly he was away on a trip.
