Thanks for looking

That is a great looking razor. I am a fan of the "Syperco" hole on razors. Well done indeed!

That looks like a winner. First one I've seen with the hole. Interesting to say the least.
How heavy is she? It looks like she's got a little heft to her. I like that too.

He has a license from spyderco for the hole

I imagine it is quite comfy. A little heft and a fine edge from O1 must be wonderful.

How do you like the hole? Functionally, it looks as though it might be a positive addition for indexing.

Looks awesome! I wasn't aware of o1 being fine grained enough for razors, but I know very little about them. I use o1 for wood carving and it is excellent.

Oh yes. O1 is used by some highly respected makers. When done properly, it makes a fantastic razor. It does particularly well at higher hardness (which you can get away with in a razor because the typical use does not generally lead to chipping).

Check out Hart Steel if you are interested, they produce a lot of nice O1 razors.

I have an 8/8 double tongue from Benjamin on its way from France. Can't wait.

Wow! I'm seriously impressed. Blade stock has never really come to mind when I think of a straight razor, but now that I see this, I'm in love. The extra weight does sound nice and the spyderhole looks like a great addiction
