Cutting Antler

I was just wondering what is the best method to cut antler. I was given a pile of moose and deer antlers and would like to get it all cut up into knife block/scale pieces so they're out of the way and not taking up much room.

Would a metal or masonry cutting disc work on an angle grinder?

It will probably be a stinky mess if you do it that way. I've cut them with a hand saw and also a hack saw. When I cut the end square for a hidden tang handle I use my miter saw with an 80 tooth blade. It doesn't seem to be any harder to cut than oak.
