I use my wood inlay classic to cut apples daily. Should I use any special care because of the wood? Will the S30V tarnish in any way? I rinse the blade with water and dry it, but should I clean the wood somehow? Thanks in advance for this dumb question :)

Just wipe it down with a damp cloth or paper towel when you are done. Its a sebenza after all; im sure it can take on wayyyyy more than an apple. :D

I don't think apples will tarnish a S30V blade but they're a good way to clean it! :)

Not claiming to be an expert, but: I think rinsing it well with water is all you need to do. If I am not mistaken apples are acidic so if you did nothing, over time, you may notice a problem. But I would have no worries with what you describe regarding the metal or the wood.

Thanks for the replies  . Puts my mind at ease, just don't want to damage my knife.

A buddy of mine showed off one of his unique graphic small Sebenzas to me the other day. It was pristine, so I thought. Then he told me he field dressed one of his deer he shot this fall with the knife. Amazin! :D
