I purchased a straight razor on the 'bay with some issues...

So I asked some questions on another thread, then tried my hand at fixing the problem. This is my first attempt at modifying a blade, so bear with me and the rough results...it's a user, not a beauty queen!

Came out great in my opinion! I actually wouldn't mind a straight cut down to about what a DE's length is... I have a bit of odd growth under my chin and making proper passes at it with a straight is fairly difficult (especially since I'm very much a greenhorn)

Seems like you did a good rescue. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.

Thanks Foxx, I didn't have a cutting tool on hand for my dremel, so I used a small grinder. Took a little longer, and I had to work to keep it cool, but I like how it looks now. Killa, I was thinking that the smaller blade might be good for tight spots as well, but seeing as how I've never used a straight, I'll just expect to experiment and bleed till I get it right! :D
