In an effort to try and level my swing enough to be able to zip through ten water bottles consistently (but not wanting to buy cases and cases of them to properly practice) I came up with this method of "stretching" my swing and practicing keeping the edge level. I think it's helping. Also this was my first weekend with a new chopper that I can tell I'm gonna really like using.

Looks fun. I’ve done some tatami cutting but only a couple of water bottles.

It does seem like you must be going through lots of them... I wonder if there isn’t a more economical and environmentally friendly material that you could use for daily practice.

Nothing comes to mind except possibly cardboard held in some type of clamp(s) - anyone else?

Oh and wicked knife!
Thanks, I really like it. I had to send it back to be ground down though; I want it to match bladesport specs and the height of the blade was over the 2 inch limit. When I get it back I plan to do a lot more testing with it.
