Cutting kydex

Can anyone recommend a good (but hopefully inexpensive0 power saw to smoothly cut kydex? I have a Craftsman jigsaw that is an utter POS. You can't cut a straight smooth line in wood let alone kydex. Do I need some kind of bandsaw? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
 
I just score the line a few times with a utility knife then snap it like drywall. Make it oversized and sand smooth when finished.
