Cutting Micarta

Gents:

I just started working on re-handling a few knives and got my hands on some Linen Micarta slabs - 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick. Does anyone have any suggestions on what Dremel tool is best to use for cutting the micarta, both big cuts and finer ones. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

the ones i have the best results with are the sanding bands. i use the 3/4' one for darn near all of the handle contour.

PROTECT YOUR LUNGS!!!! Most handle materials knife makers work with range from "nasty" to "geez, where is your brain" with respect to how hazardous they are to your health. I have a mask I wear even when drilling micarta or Dymondwood and I work outside. Be very clean with all that stuff.
