Cutting power: Yojimbo 2 vs Ulize

I've been pondering... Since the Yojimbo 2 and Ulize both belong to the MBC line, hollow ground, and both are made to optimize slashing, which one do you think will be the better meat slicer and why?

Yojimbo 2 - 3.25 Wharncliff blade, as demonstrated by Janich it's a slasher for sure

Ulize - 4.11 (I think) recurve blade with a negative grip angle. I have yet to see any slashing video on this.

Please school me on your thoughts!

A tough question, and it depends on what you mean by "optimizing." I think with the Yo2, more thought was put into how you might actually use it in a stressful situation, and the likelihood of making only partial contact. In a controlled scenario, where you can be sure to hit the sweet spot on the belly of the recurve, the Ulize might outperform the Yo2. However if you had a more dynamic scenario and made contact further toward the tip, the negative angle and belly might work against you. An interesting question, and one that probably depends on whether you mean "in real life" or "against hanging pork in old jeans."

Edit: But I'd definitely like to see the pork test done! I don't have both of these, but I know some people do.

I love both, but I'd have to say the Yo2 would dig in a lot more aggressively! The needle tip and straight edge really do a number on gallon jugs I've swiped at, more so than the Ulize.
