I have located a NIB Case CV Yellow Copperlock. This one is older with a clip blade instead of the wharnclife (sp?) blade.

I am going to buy it just because it is no longer made and lay it aside. The store is asking $40 for this knife.

Is this a good price for this knife?

I do not know the exact date because I did want to ask questions and help alert the store that it was actually discontinued and had been. This is a knife shop that sells mostly tactical stuff.

Thanks for your thoughts

I believe the knife was sold in the mid $30's normally so it's not too far off and if there's no place else where you can get it (online or elsewhere) then it's not unreasonable if it's something you've been after.

I use one it is a 2000 model, sounds reasonable . I use the hell out of mine good piece. I bought mine for like 30 bucks...So that is a good price and real good user.(or put it away)

I don't see how you could go wrong really at that price. If it doesn't suit you, it should be easy enough to trade or sell since they aren't made anymore and demand is pretty good for them.

I agree with the rest of the crew. $40 is a fine price. Especially since there is no shipping involved. It isn't cheap, but its right in line.
