Does anyone have one of these that could post a picture of it from a top view. I want to see how wide it looks and what the tools look like when in the handle. I tried searching google but there is just to many pictures of it with all the blades open to weed through. I wish there was a store that carried this model but there isn't even that many places that carry SAK's around here except Wal-Mart and Target and neither carry that model. Thanks in advance for any help.

I hope this helps. I put a Soldier and a Swisschamp on the pic too for comparison.

NICE pic. If I didn't already have each SAK, your pic would have sold me.

What I still can't figure out, however, is why the Soldier comes without an attachment for a keyring. They are very handy.

Thanks. Yes I wonder about the keyring attachment for the Soldier too. I really like the Soldier, but I wish it also had the small knife blade just like other Victorinox SAK's.

Guys, the pioneer silver alox series of vics have one that is like a soldier (pioneer) and some with more than one blade. These have alox scales like the soldier, but add a key ring and a small flat area on the scale for engraving your initials... check 'em out.

I like them, but not all of the Pioneer series Alox Vics offer the keyrings or the smaller blades. Look at
Victorinox Pioneer, for instance.

ack.. you're right. The farmer (soldier with saw) and the regular pioneer (like the soldier) has them for sure (I have them both). I thought the rest did too. I guess these two have the ring, but not the extra blades.. grr.. sorry about that!
