I'm looking at my first multi. I've been doing a lot of research here, Equipped to Survive, and a few others. I really like the CyberTool Lite but wish it had lockable tools. Anyone make a tool like the CyberTool Lite, but with lockable implements? Do you feel such a feature is needed for a tool like the CyberTool? Thanks.

I don't think one exist. The only Vitorinox models I know of right off hand that have all locking tools are the Swisstools. I really don't think all locking implements are needed but I would still much prefer them to have it. It would be great if they would use the lock setup like they use on their plier based multi-tools.

I carry a Swiss Army Knife (Vic Spartan) every day. They work fine, despite having non-locking blades. The backsprings keep the blades where they need to be just fine, so long as you don't subject them to innappropriate or unnecesary force. Also, on the knife blades, when you cut, you willbe pushing the blade up, toward the handle. The only time the blade will close is when you apply that force to it.
