Who owns both the Cyclone and JYD2 and which one do you prefer?

I am going to get one or the other next week. Thanks. I have a JYD2 I gave my son and I love the knife but I have never owned the Cyclone.

Skip the JYD II...Skip the Cyclone...Go directly to a ZT0200. Trust me on this.:D.:D.

They're different knives. If you liked the flipper & blade on the JYD II, then by all means, get it. If you think an A/O is better for your needs, then get that. That's really the difference of the 2. They do, of course, feel different from each other. Also, the Cyclone can be a manual opening knife. I found that it did not open as smoothly as a JYD II in manual mode, though. However, as an A/O, it works great.

Personally, I preferred the mini-Cyclone. I like the smaller size for pocket carry of the JYD I & the mini-Cyclone, but the JYD I doesn't open as smoothly as the JYD II, so I prefer both of the Cyclones. However, the JYD II opens VERY smoothly & quickly.

While the JYD's clips didn't bother me, I seem to recall complaints about the JYD's clip compared to the Cyclone's.

Good luck on your choice.

BLAS-PHEMER!!!!!!!!!
They are all 3 great knives, made by a great company, and I have all 3, but I like the ZT0200 the best. Nothing wrong with any of the 3.

I have both and like the JYD2 more. It is purely an ergonomics thing for me. The JYD2 just fits my hand much better and I find the blade configuration more versatile. The ZT0200 is on the horizon right now:D.
