i`ve procured myself a cyclone 2kg axe , is this brand any good? i know jack about axes

having googled "Cyclone axe", the only references are for some kind of D&D game called Guild Wars

cyclone is the brand. its i guess what you would call a generic brand . they make garden tools .

If you want info or folks opinions, you should do a little research and provide a link so we really know what item you want to discuss. That way we aren't guessing at what the product is. Where did you buy it? That might provide a clue.

You can use google just as well as we can. Since you didn't capitalize cyclone, it's just a verb, not a formal name. As for Cyclone Axe, never heard of it.

Use it in a sentence?
-The hurricane winds picked up my favorite hatchet and turned it into a "cyclone Axe". It was felling trees at 150mph!

I couldn't find anything on it.
Got pics?

this is it . i know it`ll be nowhere near as good as you guys are used to , but i got it for free so any performance i get out of it is a bonus

Cyclone is an Australian company that makes gardening products, including a few axes.

They were made in Australia and were of good quality but I don't know if this is still the case the way manufacturing shifts offshore. You could try contacting Cyclone and ask if they still make their own axes.

Your on the wrong forum for snobs bro. I use a 28oz plumb hatchet that is half hammer/half hatchet for everything. It was a gift and I beat it up! :p

POst a pic of your axe and maybe something will come out of that...

As long as it works for you and it isn't cast pot metal, enjoy. I can't say that I've heard of the brand, but that doesn't mean much. We don't get nearly enough Australian imports here, IMHO.

I do have a kangaroo scrotum being sent from a friend there, and I'll be sure to report on it's qualities when it arrives.

Ive got one of those. I was looking for a small seamless leather pouch to carry around my neck with a mini fire kit. It holds a victorinox soldier, firesteel and tinder. A minimalist kit to be sure but handy none the less.
I can start fires with my n$t sack can you?
