Anyone got one?

I placed an order for one over the weekend. I've been looking at them a lot this year and finally decided to bite the bullet on one. I already ordered an ambi safety delete as that was one of my major complaints on the gun when I held one earlier this year. Once it gets here I will be submitting a Form 1 to SBR it. After that I'll have to try to find a stock kit. Then one of my buddies told me he wanted to sell his Silencerco Octane 45 HD, so I am waiting for that on a Form 4 from him. All in all a very expensive weekend :foot:

Holy jeez that thing looks fun to shoot.

The good news is that CZ is releasing them in rifle form with a 16" barrel, or a 16" barrel with a faux suppressor pinned on, so that people wishing to avoid the NFA process, or are not interested in shooting it as a pistol can buy them.

To be honest, I probably won't even shoot it until the stamp gets approved and the stock kit can be added. I have no interest in firing it as a pistol. Also, by the time it gets approved as an SBR, I should have the Octane 45 suppressor approved as well and won't have to deal with the noise of a 7.7" barrel.

CZ should have the 922 kits available by the time your form 1 gets back.

I have a MPX, never shot it unsuppressed and don't really plan to. Fun gun especially with subs. Bought the model with the psb adapter but I'll SBR it eventually.

That's cool about the rifle versions, I didn't know they were planning on doing that. The forearms look much nicer in that configuration

Recently got the chance to run a friend's Evo with the Sig Bace... Fun gun, ate 60 rounds of reloads without complaint. Biggest issue was the trigger... it is HORRIBLE. Heavy as a boat anchor, easily over 7 or 8 pounds with plenty of grit. To be fair, I don't know the last time my buddy cleaned it and it was still well within the 500 round mark, maybe with some break in time it would improve. Factory iron sights seemed too low to the bore, a compact red dot like an RMR or Vortex Razor would be just about perfect though. the handguard feels a bit chunky compared to a regular AR handguard but not terrible. did not like that the rails are of polymer construction, hopefully SIG did their homework. Bolt release DOES NOT function if you lock the bolt open manually with the charging handle, you will have to "HK slap" the charging handle to drop the bolt. Locking the bolt back with the bolt lock/release lever requires you to run the charging handle back, push up the bolt release lever to retain the bolt, and run the charging handle back forward where it seems to be retained by a detent of some kind. That all said, this gun begs to be SBR'd and suppressed... Would make a handy trunk gun for sure. I believe Recoil magazine ran an article a few issues back on the Evo, worth a look. Hope this helps a bit.

Definitely gotta SBR that or put the sig brace on. They suck as a pistol, but still fun. Really shines as an SBR

Wanted to update this thread. Finished her up and have put 600 rounds through her in the past month.

Looks MUCH MUCH better as a SBR

Never seen that grip before, who's is it? And you took the ambi safety out

Sexy little thing, just needs a suppressor :D

The pistol grip is a YetiWurks Matterhorn, and the vertical grip is a Troy. And yes I took the ambi safety out, that thing sucks. Very uncomfortable.

I should have a SiCo Octane 45 HD suppressor out of NFA jail this month for it and my FNX 45 Tactical.

I've only shot the Scorpion as a pistol and agreed, the ambi safety sucks. Digs so far into your finger it's not funny. Never heard of the Yetiwurks before, it looks sooo much better.

I'm in the opposite boat, the stamp for my AAC Eco-9 came back last month for the MPX, but still have a couple months on the SBR stamp :(

The Troy grip looks great, really for a SBR Scorpion, I think yours looks pretty much perfect

Thanks M67.

How did you file your Form 1 on the MPX? My Form 1 E-file/Trust submissions have came back almost exactly at 90 days the last two times.

Since e-filing is backed and if I'm going to have to pay $200 for a stamp, I want an actual stamp. So I sent my form 1 off old school
