Hi everyone,
Just bought a used CZ over/under for trap and ducks (was used for trap once only), heard they were good guns. If anyone has good or bad to say.... Talk away!! Going to shoot trap at 2:00 today and test it.
 
If it is one of the recent imports it should be fine. I have shot several of them and a 28 ga side by side is on my to buy list. Some of the CZ imports of the 80's and before were kinda spotty in quality.
 
I've had CZ (Brno) rifles and was very impressed.

Also fired a CZ 75 9mm and really enjoyed that!

If their shotguns are anywhere similar you should not have any problems.
 
thanks for the info guys. The canvasback over/under shot great for a 21 and two 23 traps. Not bad for first time shooting the gun. Should I do as well or better for the sunday meat shoot, dinner might be on them. Gun was a well balanced 7 lbs with a good extractor(too cheap to pay for ejector silver redhead model);). Walnut stock with the semi pistol grip is a nice touch for the price point. Great multi-purpose gun for the money. Got mine for 800$ Canadian, but I think they go for around 550 to 600$ American new.

I don't have one, but my Dad does. Its a very nice looking 28 Ga. side by side. It was brand new in 2008. We took it out dove hunting last fall and it broke... After 8 shots only too! The barrels wouldnt lock closed. He sent it back to CZ USA. It took about three weeks but he finally received a brand new gun, close to the end of the season. They had great customer service.
He really likes it, but that incident made me nervous to buy one.
