cz75compact vs sig 229

I've never had a CZ, but I did have a 229 and it would probably be pretty much indestructable. But I hear good things about CZ, shot one once, felt great in the hand. Not sure you could go wrong with either.
 
I don't own a Sig 229 but I do have an Elite 220 and it's pretty sweet , seems like it would run forever. I do own a CZ 75, CZ p07 and a CZ 97, all three run perfect and at a fraction of the cost of my Sig. I'm solid CZ believer now, they just perform at great prices.
 
I have not handled sigs much. I do own a CZ-75 and with thousands of rounds never a single failure.
