So I put a Para D guard on my FBM last night. Then decided to put a quick wrap on my skelly handled Siegle. I think the D guard is a bit large, but I did not want it rubbing my knuckles.

Finger tips a bit tingly.

I found some gloves for you so that your hands fit a bit more naturally under that D-Guard!

:p:p:p

The D-Guard does look good though, nice and tight.

Thanks for the pics. :D

Grimspoon, I read some one say that they had to take their d-guard off because it made their knuckles raw, So I wanted to keep it well away from my knuckles. I think I might take an inch or two out of it later and still have clearance enough.

Winston, I did not really pay attention to keeping the twists consistent. I was just focusing on tight. I figured I would have to start over several times till I was satisfied, but the first wrap felt nice and tight. I did not put a base wrap, because I wanted to keep the width (top to bottom of the tang) to a minimum. I started the wrap by threading the cord 3 times back and forth under the wrap through the skelly holes to give it a bit more girth side to side.

(in the first pic you can see the new scratches on the FBMLE from a walk and chop in the woods).
