D - Guard Bowie

Here's a fighting D-guard bowie I just finished.
O.A. length is 19. 3/4". The blade is 14. 3/8" X 1. 7/8" X 1/4" thick. The sharpened top clip is 7. 1/4".
All of the steel ( blade, guard, bolsters, and pommel sides ) is from an old truck leafspring.
The handle scales are Claro Black Walnut Burl.
The handle is 5. 1/8".
Tomorrow I'll make a "low on the thigh" sheath rig for her.
Then, I'll turn her loose on ebay. I really like the thrill of the auctions.

I have her on ebay tonght at 6 pdt. I'll start at $150 and see where it goes.
I'm not big on D-guards myself. I like them on swords, but not on a knife.
