Thanks for looking,

Ken,

Very nice knife sheath looks pretty good too, can't wait to get my hands on it!

That sure is a sweet looking knife! I always have liked a nicely done D-guard bowie.

That looks great. You really did it right

Ken, great looking knife and sheath! I'm struggleing fitting a simple guard on my current project and at this point I can't imagine a "D" guard! Nice work!

My wife and I visited Waynesville while attending my ABS "Intro" course at Haywood! Waynesville is a lovely little town we enjoyed it, also the "Mast General Store" I could live there!

Thats nice ken I like the dark steel and copper looks like it feels great in the hand

A very nice and well executed "D" Guard Bowie. I like the kind of rustic, yet
elegant look.
Proportions seem to be the biggest obstacle in creating a good looking
and ergonomically correct "D" Guard Bowie. Looks like you have achieved
success here even though it's hard to judge proportions from blade forward
photo angles. How does it balance?

The sheath goes well with the knife. Is it your creation as well?

sweet knife, Ken! Good to see you rockin out.

Kevin,

Thanks you for your kind words. The balance point is right at the guard. I make the sheath and also turned the pommel nut and the sheath stud.

That's one sweet knife Ken. looks like it would be very comfy in the hand. I like the blued handle guard color.
