1075/80 spring steel. The blade is 11.1/4" X 1.3/4" X 1/4" thick. O.A. is 16.5"
I made the guard, bolsters, and pommel sides all from the same steel.
There's no beltloop on the sheath. It's easier to pack or tuck into a belt this way.
I just listed this one on e-bay. I'll let you know how it does.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

Love it, can't afford it...

Can you explain the slot cut through the tang to allow the epoxy to flow through?

NICE! I really like that!

now that is BRAWNY! I'd love to see some short-swords in that style, 18-20" blades, now THAT would be a serious zombie-killin' knife!

Thanks for the comments.
I can work with any steel but prefer mid-high carbon spring.
The slot through the tang is 3/8" wide and runs the length of the handle.
This allows the epoxy to bond wood to metal, and wood to wood. I've beaten test pieces in the vice and this is the strongest bond I've found.
Thanks,
Mike
