Here is a new D-guard I just finished. The 1 7/8" X 11" blade is forged from 1080 steel the overall length is 16 1/4". The guard and fittings are nitre-blued mild steel with the exception of the nickel silver spacer. The handle material is female walrus ivory. The quench line and the swedge are lost in the pic. I will try to get a better overall pic. I hope you enjoy.

GREAT job Craig! I must say I am heartened by all the beaitiful big bowies being posted these days. This one's a real beauty!

Here are some (hopefully) larger and logo-free pics:

This is a very nice looking Bowie knife.
The geometry of this knife is perfect, IMO.

I'm getting kind of tired of all these great pictures of these great looking Bowie knives people have because it makes me want to buy them and I'm broke.:D

How can you tell if it's female ivory? Does it have little breasts on it or something? :)

Great looking knife!

Thanks everyone.
Yeah the little breast are a dead giveaway! Or if you don't want to look for the little breasts you can look at the core of the tusk, the female tusks have a lot smaller core. :) :D ;)
