D Guard

I finished this piece up a while back. The blade is made fom 485 layers and the guard from 204 layers. OAL 17 1/2" with a 12 1/2" blade. Handle is Walrus Ivory, definitely a handle full.

I got to handle this beauty at the Chicago Show recently. The inch dimensions don't really give a good idea for the size of this knife in the hand. This baby is a beautifully balanced handful.

Definitely suitable for both showcase and ancient battlefield.
