D handled bowie help

Thanks Owen I was putting the D guard on and didn't think that it looked quite right, the link to the antique verified my suspicions.
This is for a black powder type and they like to be as authentic as possible.

Here's my klunky version of a D-guard Geroge. I wound up making it for myself, but intended it to be as authentic as I could manage. No laughing! I'm new at this.
