D Holder was in an accident?

I heard D Holder was in a hit and run accident a few weeks ago, anyone have a link or two to the story?
 
I talked to him at the Vegas show. His left eye was red as hell and almost closed. A tractor trailer ran into the back of his SUV. The tractor trailer left the scene. They located the driver about 30 miles away at a truck stop. The damage to D's SUV matched up exactly to the tractor. The driver first denied he hit anyone, then he said that "he stopped and made sure everyone was ok". Yeah right! He's in deep dung.

Anyway, D's ok and Pat (his wife) has a sore back. It sounds like D' and Pat will become owners of a trucking company.

Scary. Glad to hear they're OK!

Years ago, we saw a truck ram a compact car. Mom jumped out, ran around to the other side, got the little kid out, car burst into flames. Truck took off and the police got him about a mile down the road. Must have been a dozen eye witnesses right there taking down the license and the company name ... :rolleyes:
 
D's not having very good luck, he just had quadruple bypass surgery, but was recovering pretty good the last I saw him, right before Vegas...
 
Sounds to me like his luck is holding out pretty well, getting through all this aggravation. It could have been worse.

That's awful. I'm glad to hear that he and his wife are OK. (I guess I missed him in Vegas. )

D' is just plain "nice". That's probably the highest compliment a mean S.O.B. like me can pay to anyone! :D

Thanks for the info, never met him but I do own several of his knives, he is a true artist!
