Good Afternoon!
I have a few beautiful knives marked D.J. Hughes Nunica Michigan. I am having no luck finding any information on this knife. I am hoping that someone has heard of this or seen his knives and could point me in the direction of some information. Even a value would be a start. I am from Michigan and am still really struggling. Thank you for any and all information you all have to offer.

Daryle J Hughes - 10979 Leonard, Nunica, MI 49448, Phone: 616-837-6623, hughes.builders@verizon.net Specialties: Working knives. Patterns: Buckskinners, hunters, camp knives, kitchen and fishing knives. Technical: Forges and grinds 52100 and Damascus. Prices: $125 to $1000. Remarks: Part-time maker; first knife sold in 1979. Mark: Name and city in logo.

The DJ Hughes stamp could be older.

But that's the only D J Hughes that is known to make knives in that area of Michigan.
