what is this?? does any one have a pic??? im new to the busse stuff so please forgive me if its a stupid question.

This is a D-guard that I did recently, on my BB9.

I have to say, though, that I've cut off most of the excess cord, except for the lanyard. My idea was that you would have extra cord if you needed it, but it was impractical, and kept geting in the way whenever I tried to use the knife.
