D.R. Knife kits?

I was at knifekits.com (hope that's right) and Mr. Ralph seems to have some awfully nice stuff available for folding knife kits. Anybody complete one? Good stuff, or problems?

I finished out the TRAK neck knife. It was quite easy to do, since I asked a few knifemaker friends for advice. Basically, I hand rubbed a 240 grit satin finish on the blade and tang. I posted a scan and some comments here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=187453 The only power tool I used was my Dremel, the rest involved using sandpaper and a file to wrap the paper around.

The kits are absolutely top-notch. Everything goes together beautifully. Lots of fun for not much money -- and with a little care you end up with a very presentable and usable knife. It also gave me even greater appreciation for the skill that goes into building a knife from scratch. Very cool stuff from good people.

Thanks. I know D.R.'s reputation, just wanted someone who actually had built one. Sounds like I'm broke again...LOL

I've built a few of the folders. If you follow the link on the site to the "kit forum" you can see examples of what folks are doing with the kits.

You might try the search function. I've seen some beautiful results from these kits.
