So when I saw David posting he received his JS at Blade this year I had to see if any of his knives were available.

Here is his integral test knife. 3 3/16 W2 blade with hamon and ironwood handle. 7 1/4 overall. Comfortable, very light, excellent built in guard and razor sharp.

The blade has a very clean hand finish. The integral bolster is polished, rounded at the bottom and facetted around the rest of the bolster. The ironwood is held by a single pin and the contours of the handle match the bolster perfectly. Fit is amazing with a near seamless connection of bolster and handle.

I am so impressed by this knife I have also asked David to send me his drop point test hunter.

Man, we really need to hook up for a little show and tell. Let me know when the hunter arrives. :) That little integral looks real clean - nice grab!
