This is a small pocket size hunter I made using D2 steel, convex grind semi-skinner blade. 6" overall with 2 1/2" convex cutting edge. All comments welcome. Thanks for looking, Scott

As I'm leaning towards smaller blades as I get older, I think yours would fit the bill for any hunter. Beautiful proportions, really like the filework and rugged handle scales. AND D2!! I'll bet that this little workhorse performs like knives twice its size. Nice job.

Thank you, I feel the same way about the smaller knives for hunting. Whitetail deer hunting, next to knifemaking is an absolute passion for me. While I enjoy the actual hunt itself, I really enjoy when I can put different blades to work after the animal is down. This is what seperates the inexperienced from the experienced. Knowing how to properly care for the animal who's life you chose to expire is the most important part of the hunt for me.
