Just finished this knife up. It was my first go at a file worked spine. It went ok but when I shaped up the handle I took too much off the spine and the file work got a bit shallow. My mark turned out a bit patchy. I also ground one of the corbys down too far and it developed a bit of a divot. Apart from ALL those mistakes it looks alright.

Specs:
OAL: about 230mm
Blade: 100mm cutting edge. 40mm wide. 3.5mm thick. D2 tool steel.
Handle: Tasmanian blackwood. SS pins. Aluminium lanyard hole. Filework spine.

This photo really shows off the blackwoods silvery lustre.

Really nice !!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations

the aluminium lanyard hole it's a filework? Beautiful and great idea.

I love it Tim! Filework turned out great and the thong tube is very cool. Nice creativity bud!

I can't say I'm in love with the lanyard hole, but I REALLY like the rest of this knife!

Nice work Tim.

Hey, thanks jonny.

I can't say I'm in love with the lanyard hole, but I REALLY like the rest of this knife!

Nice work Tim.

Thanks dillon. Who knows if the lanyard hole will stay like that. The angles on it are a but sharp and might wear through a chord. So I might have to just drill it to a normal tube yet.

Tim,

Did you consider putting your logo on the flats? Looks like you have some dead space there that might have looked nice with your etched mark.

Just a thought.

Its not actually flat on top. Its more of a false edge sort of dealio.
