D2 blade a Tungsten DLC

I have designed my first knife and had it crafted by Gene Martin and now im sending it off to Get it coated in Bodycote's Tungsten DLC.

My question is "the Blade is already sharpened" When it comes back what is going to be the best way to put my edge back on.

I Know the coating is super thin but Im sure i will have to resharpen it because of the "coating"

Any help?

You should be able to sharpen it with a Diamond sharpener easy enough. Watch the angle or you will scratch your blade.
BTW what does the coating run per blade?
