Always liked the "idea" of a boot knife, but most were never really that practical to actually carry in one's boot, and then we get into issues with getting to it when needed.

This is more of an everyday utility knife style for small jobs, but there are no problems with worrying about loosing it or having it become uncomfortable. The sheath is obviously for higher lace-up style boots only, but that's what I wear at work, so what the heck. Disregard how ugly the boot is, it was used as a photo prop only!

Blade is 3" long of D2 planer blade, HT and cryo at 61 RC.

Good looking knife! I like the practical blade shape and not-too-long length. Seems like a winner for EDC.

Clint , that is a cute little knife , good choice of steel for the daily work . The sheath laced into the boot is very creative , does it dig into your shin ? I think that design with a nylon cord wraped handle would be cool also .

Jack, You don't even know it's there. I tied the top behind the sheath, and that is enough to keep it away from the wearer. Posted a pic for reference, thanks for looking.
