This is an order that I finished up a few weeks ago. It was an order for a guy who does a lot of fishing and camping and wanted a good stout blade (but not too big and heavy) to carry in the outdoors. He also requested a clip sheath instead of a belt loop as he didn't wear a belt. Here's the specs:

5.5" blade of 1/8" D2 heat-treated and cryoed to 61Rc, hollow ground
Handle is WSSI stabilized Red Gidgee secured to a full thickness tang with 1/4" corby fasteners
3/8" stainless tube for thong loop
mirror polished spine and handle, satin flats, high grit machine-finished bevels

This is the first blade in a new pattern that I've been developing for about 4 months. I'm also trying out a saber and full-flat grind instead of the hollow grind.

I've also started using D2 instead of O1 - I still have some O1 in stock if a customer requests it, but I am much more impressed with the D2.

Hope you enjoy the pics, have a good one,
Nathan

That is a beautiful knife. Simply gorgeous in its simplicity. Very nice! And I love D2... couple of Doziers have made me a real believer in that steal.

Good work!

I'd like to see it from more of a direct on side view, but from what I can see, it looks very nice.

Yeah, unfortunately this one went out the door while my wife/photographer was away. Let's just say that she's much better with the camera than I am. I try very hard to be half as good as she is at it :D. I make it up to her by sharpening the kitchen knives and bbq'ing on occasion.

Thanks a lot for the comments, I'm glad you all seem to like it,
Nathan
