D2 tool steel hollow ground with tapered tang maple and african black wood scales with brass pins. The guard is SS with a damascus steel insert. Let me know what you think.

I really love the contrast and contour. That der knife and sheath got some class---marekz

Great colors and the combination of the GREATLY different materials sets this one off, I particularly like the red spacers along the spine. When that knife is taken from the presentation position to spine or bottom the contrasts will really stand out.

I'd love one like that in the collection. Great job.

Does anyone know where I can find a guard similar to this? I did some looking, but the only guards I could find covered a small 1" hilt.
THIS KNIFE IS A GRADE ABOVE THE REST. I just need help finding guards that will cover 1 1/4" or even 1 1/2" hilts on a full tang.

Looks great and I normally don't like handles out of contrasting wood. Yours looks beautiful.
