Just got mine today courtesy of Knifecenter. With FedEx shipping to the UK it was still cheaper than buying it in the UK, by £30!
First impressions - DLC is great, the knife is marked on the right hand side of the blade with the Cold Steel logo and 'German D2' with Taiwan. The left is etched with the Leatherneck SF marking. In the box the knife is sheathed and is in a plastic wrapper. The blade edge and etching is covered in a light grease to prevent corrosion while on the shelf or in transit.
The knife has it's balance at the first groove in the handle behind the quillion. You can see the full tang at the rear, and the butt cap is neatly pinned in place.
My only dislike is the pop stud catch for the knife handle retianer - I would have preferred it if the retainer was 180deg - so that a rearward push with the right thumb releases the pop stud, not a forward movement.
A great knife, thanks for upgrading thithe steel to make this great design a quality Cold Steel product!
