Yes, but I havn't seen a single one on the exchange or elsewhere. They were gone before I was getting back into Spyderco's:(

Good luck in your hunt:thumbup:

They were a Sprint Run (1200 pieces if I remember right) with an experimental CPM D-2 steel and Foliage Green G-10 scales. They make great users, so they are pretty scarce now. Most folks who have them don't want to turn loose of them. You could try posting a Want to Buy thread in the appropriate sub-forum, but I wish you the best of luck in turning one up.

The two bigger ones in this picture are D-2, Militaries. They are hard to find and rather expensive, if you do manage to find one for sale.

Best of luck finding one. I wouldn't let mine go for less then $300, because that's what I'd pay to get a new one. :D

My D2 Para was a lovely knife. Absolutely wonderful with the CPM D2. Took a much finer edge then standard D2 blades, and kept all the properties.

I got one about two weeks ago in a trade, slightly used but still love it. Although the G-10 could use a bit of brightening up, its rather dull/splotchy right now.

Thank you for reply guys. Kim ,let me know when you decide to sell it:)I quess I am going to post in WTB forum, and see, maybe I get lucky. What would be reasonable price for used/new one on a secondary market?

I've seen them bring 220 nib and up lately on Ebay. (and then they still are not up often) That's about 100 more than they was new.

Ken called me on that one...BS!
Me dunt know a Para from a Milllie!!:eek:
Now I do.

Hmmm... sounds like it it time to put my D2 Miltary on ebay to start funding the next knife!!

I will never let mine go. After handling a pre-production piece and testing it I fell in love with the great edge qualities of CPM D2. I bought mine as soon as they were released. It is an excellent knife, and I much prefer CPM D2 to S30V. I find it interesting how expensive these models are now considering they didn't seem to be in the greatest demand when they were new.
