I just got my Mini Grip in the mail. It's got a black D2 blade (plain edge) and OD scales. I first thought it was a Cabela's only deal and they wanted somewhere around $100 for it. Well, I found them also at knifeworks and decided to pick one up.

I like it so far. Came pretty sharp. After a couple passes on some plain leather it popped hair right off my arm with ease. This is my first Benchmade, and I think I made a good choice.

Got one a couple of months ago its now my favorite knife .

^Thanks.
I love the mini Grip. Certainly lives up to its name as it fits great in the hand. Really tight lock-up; smooth/fast opening. Only complaint is how the pocket clip contacts the ridges on the handle -- I wish that area had been smoothed out a bit. Now I'm just waiting on a custom white G10 handle to match the black blade.

I used to have a couple of those. Nice knives for sure. Great for EDC.

That is easily rectified by sliding a sheet of sandpaper under the clip, with the abrasive side facing the scales, and pulling the paper back and forth.
