D2 vs CPM D2

I am using D2 in my blades, now. How is CPM D2 different in performance? Is it just as heat treatable? I see a significant price jump for CPM D2, so I'd like to look before I leap.

It appears that there is no longer a CPM-D2 data sheet on the Crucible site. CPM is a particle metullaurgy process. Here is a link.
