D4 with black titanium carbonitride reviews?

Any feedback or reviews of the black titanium carbonitride coated blades that are available on the Delica 4?

Are they prone to scratching? I hear they make the blade more wear resistant...(whatever that means).

Any insight is appreciated!!

Ti Nitride is a variation of the Glock Tennifer finish, rating up to (if not harder than) diamond on the Rockwell scale. What that means: corrosion resistance equal to the new H1, higher lubricity at the pivot point, and (less of a "real" issue) scratch resistant surface. For most, corrosion resistance, with a higher carbon steel is/was the attraction.
