I am not much interested in survival/combat knives, but you could tell me what 440HC steel is. This is one I haven't run across before.
 
Very interesting knife. It looks like it is a hollow handled bayonet with the top guard being a muzzle attachement point and the hole in the tip of the blade being a pivot point to cut barbed wire similar to the East German bayonets used on their last generation of AK-47's.
 
it's rudimental knife for Chinese bladelover,off course,as China-made M9's transfiguration,it can cut barbed wire similar to M9,it worth USD100. NOBODY own D80 in you western countries? it mainly export to southeast asian countries
 
My question arises from the fact that 440C is already a very high carbon steel, with up to a 1.2% content. Of course I have seen 420HC, but can find no information on 440HC.
