DABA or CPJABA?

I've been shopping around for a sheath for an Anorexic badger but which one should I draft into service? There are 187 Desert models but only 83 Clip Points in jungle green and I have one of each. I really planned for the CPJABA to be the work horse but when I look at the numbers I'm having second thoughts. One of my two INFIcoots is trying to be an EDC and there were only 200 of them. I've seen a DABA at auction but it was sterile. I haven't seen a CPJABA for sale at all. Maybe I'll keep shopping for a second of one so I can use the other. Wha'da ya think?

I have a clip point JABA and I use it. I also need a sheath for mine, I'll end up getting leatherman to make me one sometime. In the meantime it lives on my desk and I grab it when I need a knife. It's a good little user :D

What sort of sheath are you looking for? Leather or kydex? If you get one for the DAB, the CP should fit in it either way. I have one I made in leather for my DAB and the CP fits in it great. Leather is a little more forgiving in that area.

I had mtmike make pants for my INFIcoots and I like the canted one for my user. However the CPJABA would look and ride good in a green kydex sheath for field use. The problem with wearing kydex in the field is that branches scraping on the sheath make a more noticable noise than leather. How about a forest green leather sheath? Can any of you leather wranglers handle that? For me the DABA begs for a tan leather sheath. The only time I've carried it out I slipped it into my Howling Rat nylon sheath. It wasn't a perfect fit but I still got to have it with me. Questions, questions, questions...

I've got green! Dont know why, but I got it!:p

Traded mine off a few days ago.....but it depends on if you want a pouch type sheath or a standard. I can do a standard off my pattern, a pouch would require me getting a hold of another.:o Anyone wanna barter for a clip point JABA??:D
