Today the wife asked me to help her with a project that she saw on pinterest or facebook or something. She called it a "dad board".

It was a big hit with the little guy! :)

BAWANNA! You didn't! ROFLOL!

Actually, I can relate to the cat in the box!

However, can also relate to the box. Likely the size I'll receive from Auntie when I return home, she's been holding the shipments.

That dang cat snuck the sweater out of the clean laundry bin and put in the box, too!

Darn cats will be cats! Goodness bless our Chihuahua, he gives them hell. The bigger dods are dumbfounded, he doesn't care until the claws appear, he's smart enough to notice.

Thats a cool idea! Looks like he loves it! My grandkids love to play with them door stopper springs.

Agree with NDog that is one heck of a cool idea. I bet that would have kept every kid in our neighborhood occupied for a long LONG time. And as he outgrows certain things you can always replace a "station" with something more complex. But yeah those door stoppers won't need an upgrade for a long time... I think I was about 50 years old last time I played with one, and might just go sproing one or two today outta pure orneriness and just to enjoy the sound!

Awesome idea! In my house the giant cardboard box has become the supreme play toy. She hides in it and we have to pretend that the mailman delivered a big box and we have no idea what's in it, etc. Then we open it up and "Suprise, it's a baby!"

Yeah he loved the door stoppers. That was the first thing he went for. I actually went out and grabbed a few more to add because he loved them so much. He likes the push light a lot too, gotta pick up another one of those.

Blue, he loves cardboard boxes too! I've got a pic somewhere of him ignoring his Hanukkah presents from last year and playing in the big box they came in instead.

Around the PD here we have a ritual when officers or visitors kids are at the proper age and size.

We call it Jamaican Bobsled. I get a cardboard box of appropriate size and place the child/victim in the box. Then I push them around. Works best with a power chair but I'd done it with the manual, just a bit trickier on the corners.

They all seem to enjoy it once they get over the stranger danger maniac driving the chair.

Sounds like fun ya think it'd work with a 5'10" 200lb guy?

Might have to slick up the bottom of the box and get a bigger box for sure. Power chair only. I don't think manual is gonna pull it off.
