Dadao or discord?

Should I get the condor dadao for it's sheer cutting power, or the discord for it's lack of oiling?

So, I really don't want to have to oil a sword, but the discord looks like it's more likely to break.

Condors have their heat treat down pretty good. Neither one should break as long as your not throwing them or batoning a brick.

What are your intended uses for the 2 blades?

Both are built like tanks. If you manage to break either one of them then something has gone seriously wrong.
